Rediscovered this hidden jewel for Chinese food in the Triad! George and Sherry Wu offers some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese dishes in the area. Their dumplings are sooooo good and the flavors of their dishes are fantastic. I came earlier when it was Full Kee and her menu was only in Chinese. What User doesn't like about Mandalay Asian Fusion Cuisine:
Maybe we had a bad order tonight. We ordered crispy duck, it was served with hoisin and one of us liked it and the rest of the felt was overly dried. We ordered the sticky rolls that were good, the dumplings were average, we ordered the cashew chicken and kung pao chicken and besides the nuts they were the same dish, both Gooey and very sweet, no heat with both. Great service. View all feedback.
My family and I have been to Mandalay multiple times and the food has consistently been outstanding. The ambience is calm and perfect for chatting. Along with dining in, they also offer takeout options. There are talks that the restaurant might shut down this autumn due to struggling to bounce back from the pandemic. If this is true, make sure not to miss out on experiencing this fantastic Asian restaurant.
I recently had a terrible experience at a restaurant. They charged $36 for our takeout order, which turned out to be incredibly disappointing. The first chicken dish we ordered had no chicken in it, and the sesame chicken we got barely had any chicken at all - just a few small pieces of tough, dry meat. The side of broccoli was minuscule and the rice was cold and hard. When I called the next day to discuss our experience with our server, Jennifer, she was not helpful and said we were the only ones to complain. Despite our dissatisfaction, she offered no solution or apology. As a business owner myself, I am appalled by the lack of customer service and will be sharing my negative experience with others. Shame on you, Jennifer.

This restaurant was stumbled upon, but my friend and I decided to try it anyway. When we walked in, the restaurant was clean and bright. We ordered our meal, the waitress was very courteous and kind. The food was excellent and fresh. And lastly, the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
