I worked in sushi restaurants for 8 years and now live in California with endless access to variety of sushi restaurants but haven’t found one yet to beat this place. I highly recommend the boger roll, White Castle, and the flaming shrimp roll! Definitely a hidden gem in NC! Tell them Sarah sent ya :

I had come to this restaurant a couple of years ago for hibachi and wasn't particularly impressed, but this time the service and the sushi more than made up for it.

I ordered a special sushi roll—though I can't remember its name—and it came out on fire, which was both beautiful and quite impressive. The service was excellent too. I drove 30 miles just to experience this new sushi spot, and I definitely plan to go back. My total bill came to about $26, which included some sake, a large roll, and a delicious ginger salad.
