George's Pizza - High Point

I've been going here for years. This is the first time I was mad when I left. There were people at the bar drunk and they were still being served alcohol. They were insanely loud. We asked the server to ask them to calm down and she refused. Then she returns to the bar and gives them more alcohol. At this we just put our food in boxes (which was really overcooked) and left. Very disappointed. Used to be a great place.

Got the Chicken Sandwich... the chicken itself was crunchy.... I think it was freezer burnt before they fried it. Will not get again. Service was ok, but only two servers for the whole dinning area and bar so they were stretched thin. Everything else was good.

I got take out last night and it was horrible. I should have checked my order before I left but they forgot my fries so I called up there and the lady said we will give you a large order of fries and credit of $10. I drove back up there they gave me a tiny bag of fries and I didn’t even get a credit. Wish I didn’t waste gas to drive all the way back for that. The ”bbq” wings tasted like ketchup we threw them away. Wasted $60 dollars

George's is a local watering hole that is usually filled with loyal regulars. It has a decent atmosphere but can get a little too rowdy on game nights. The food is awesome, everyone is friendly and the drinks are always cold.

I know you saw me sit down... at least acknowledge and let me know you'll be right with me... Came in for a drink and a bite to eat. Sat at the bar and watched 3 bartenders ignore me for about 10 minutes. Finally another customer got their attention and pointed me out to them and I was able to get a drink. I had to ask for a menu. Got the menu but no one came back to ask if I was ready to order before my beer was gone... probably another 10 minutes. The place wasn't busy enough for this lack of basic service. Never even got a bill for the beer... Threw a 5 on the bar and left. Went to sweet old bills down the road and received excellent service.
