First time back in a few years. Whoever the owners are really need to spruce up the place with flooring, paint and lighting. Hasn't been touched in 20 years easily. I could definitely smell a musky smell, nothing bad, but was noticeable. It could be so much more if they put a little more money into a remodel. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fuji Japanese Steak Seafood:
The staff were very friendly but the place smelled of gas leak and all surfaces, including chairs, were covered in slippery grease. We only stayed long enough for the soup before having to leave due to how greasy everything was View all feedback.
The food was good, and the filet mignon was absolutely amazing! The service and chef interaction was the best! The atmosphere is a little dark and dated, and the prices of the dishes lean closer to $40 than $30, but well worth it. If you don't have a sense of humor or can't at least crack a smile, go somewhere else!
Food and service are the best around. Restaurant could use a little update for atmosphere. Still my favorite.
Went for my sons birthday service was good food was good cook was outstanding just hate I didn't catch his name. My granddaughter was very entertained by by fire food as she calls it
Wont be coming back. Younger boy that was a server for back room on Sat night SUCKED. He forgot our salad, we saw other tables getting their stuff. He was very rude about having to refill our drink and bring boxes. I wish the cook could have kept the whole tip. Worst experience ever. Don’t mind charging a arm and leg, atleast have good service. You could tell the other people at our table were aggravated too. Pretty bad the cook had to go tell them we needed our salads and refills.
I do not go here often but tonight I ordered to go out of a whim and was reminded why. I'll start with the good. The food, at least mine, was excellent. Portions were fair and my ribeye was the best I had in a very long time. For some customers, I understand the 5 star ratings for the taste of the food and the service. One employee helped me carry the food to my car which was really nice. I appreciated that. The food and service I feel are 5 star. But I have to give only two stars. Why? When I left the restuarant, the door handles and all around them were literally covered in what I can only describe to feel like 2 years of bacon grease. After my hand slid through the grime, I looked and saw just how filthy the doors were. It turned my stomach. Gross....just....WTH. For the price I paid for a family of 5 $140) of to go japanese food minus the entertainment, I expect to find a clean place. Sure it needs some MAJOR updating. It hasnt changed in the 20 years I have been visiting off and on. But, come on. If you cannot update, at least clean the living daylights outta the place! This is a place where food enters your mouth. If the front door is literally a petri dish of God only knows what, what kind of impression does that make? I hope management reads this review. This place could be amazing. I'm sorry, but good food isnt enough to bring me back after what i saw tonight. I am mortified. I cannot believe I was able to even eat it when I got home and I didnt tell my family as they wouldnt have eaten the food and then I wasted $140. I refuse to return and that is sad because they do have great hibachi. :
