After Spooky Woods was SUCH a disappointment, this place made my night. It was the only place open and my daughter suggested it. The chicken strips snack, the strawnerry cheesecake shake, and the cheese bites made my night. View all feedback.
What Anthony Reaves doesn't like about Cook Out:
Worst CookOut in the History of Cookouts. Crazy wait times. They rarely get your order right and depending on when you go you may get on food instead of fresh food. View all feedback.
Sometimes, we receive unsweetened tea, or the tea is served warm enough to melt the ice, making it taste watered down. One evening, a manager even yelled at me, insisting I had ordered incorrectly. I had clearly stated my preference for a BLT without mayo or lettuce, simply asking for bacon, tomato, and cheese on a bun. The manager seemed confused by what I was asking for. This wasn’t just my experience; another customer at the drive-thru was having similar issues with him. They frequently forget items or leave things off our order entirely. We've also been overcharged, and when we ask for corrections, some staff members respond with attitude. Given that we spend at least $40 here four to six times a week due to our current work hours, it’s frustrating. While some of the staff are fantastic, it’s the ones who seem disengaged and unhappy that really need to be replaced.

They're so eager to clear the drive-thru line that they don't take the time to read the order tickets. Be sure to check your order thoroughly before leaving the restaurant. They need to improve!
As of my last visit on August 20, 2022, I’m not sure why I keep returning to this place. Each time, the food is overcooked and almost impossible to eat. They never provide napkins, which is frustrating. On my last visit, the person taking my order on the speaker cut me off before I could finish, and I had to complete my order at the window. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. On a side note, I visited the West Gate City Blvd location in Greensboro, NC a few weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much better the food was there.
