we were too late for lunch in buxton (because we spent a very pleasant time in the museum and art gallery) and most caffes were full. the source however had a few tables free, and we had a very satisfying lunch (many vegetarian options, as well as other specialties) and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. What Gary Wilkinson doesn't like about The Source Cafe:
Visited with my Daughter for lunch. Ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came pretty soon and so did my Daughters baguette, another customer who had come in a little bit after us, and ordered whilst we were waiting for our order got her food. Quite...funnily it was the exact same thing I’d ordered. The waitress then asked if that’s all we had ordered, to which I said no. Oh, she said, I’ll see where it is. By the time... I recently visited a lovely cafe with my partner and we were greeted by a cheerful and friendly waiter. Our order arrived promptly and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable, and overall it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
A great coffee shop in a fantastic building. interesting drinks options and very helpful staff that go the more mile than anyone, give their time to speak and help anyone who is in need. well known as one of the best caffes in buxton.
I've been coming to the source for years, changing buses would not be the same without the place. the staff is always friendly and helpful. prices are reasonable and generous. highly recommended!
Kirchencafé in buxton with enough food options for this zöliakie. coffee with a real piece of cake today. mmm! but I'd rather have something from the Savouries menu.
This restaurant offers excellent value and is very welcoming and accommodating. Our group of two toddlers and three adults enjoyed the delicious coffee.
