We had a fantastic lunch for a group of 10 people at this restaurant. The food portions were generous and the service was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

After a long hike in the Peak District, we stopped at this restaurant for a meal on our way back to Birmingham. The pub had a charming and welcoming atmosphere. They welcomed our dog and even gave them treats. Although there was initially some confusion with our booking, the staff quickly resolved it and seated us promptly. The customer service was exceptional and the food was delicious and delivered to our table quickly. Even though I am not a local, I would definitely return next time we are in the Peak District.

Was staying in Buxton over the Xmas period for a short break. Absolutely loved this pub, it was so cosy and the team working there were very friendly and welcoming. Went for a couple of hours on Xmas day too while the turkey was cooking! It was lovely...wish we had a place like this at home.
