Was Julie Furminger at L'ideal Hierges a mag?
Little unexpected restaurant at the last minute and a wonderful discovery for us. The cuisine is excellent in addition to being generous. We really enjoyed! The welcome is warm, the waitresses are friendly and funny. Price-quality level is very reasonable. The place is nice, what more can I say I can only recommend this restaurant. What Alice Lu dislikes about L'ideal Hierges:
very good service and friendly owner/staff. Unfortunately, bad foods were served. Fish chips are made by frozen pre-made factory fish sticks, and it's still raw when brought to the table. After talking to the waitress, they just fried the fish sticks again and brought the same piece to the table. It was very oily. Chips were also very oily and the frying oil does not tasted fresh. Service staff is friendly and does a good job and restaurant has good facilities. Unfortunately same cannot be said about the kitchen. We ordered fish and chips, but the fish is just fish sticks from the freezer, same as what you can buy in the supermarket. Clearly wasn't home made. My wife's portion was even still cold inside, so we sent it back. Fries also tasted like old oil, that definitely haven't been changed for a while. Strangely, photo's on Google of a year ago shows a self breaded fish dish, but apparently they don't feel like cooking anymore. €15 for what's basically a reheated supermarket meal is also ridiculously high priced.
