I always prefer Italian coffee to Starbucks when available. The coffee has a deeper, richer taste, and they serve it in real cups and saucers. This is the Metepec location.

We were with our guide and drove to Puebla when we stopped. They offer a clean, beautiful place to stop for a big hot chocolate and I ordered a lemon pastries that was really good and 43 pesos over $2.32 USD, I thought it a bit high when considering what we had paid in the city. I don't know how much the hot chocolate was, how Mom treated us, but it was good. They have a number of dogs that looked half-starved roaming the area, I felt pretty bad for them and tortured them a few bread, they fought about it, so it felt worse that I didn't bring anymore. They don't worry that they just walk around hoping you could give them something. I would stop again, it looked like they bite fast and served different coffees, reminded me of a starbucks.
