Magpie's Family Llc - Hicksville

I stopped in here for breakfast recently. This place is your stereotypical small town diner. My breakfast was definitely a very generous portion and was reasonably priced. Everything was cooked perfectly! What I ordered came with one biscuit with gravy. The gravy could have used a little more sausage, but still tasted great. If you're in the area this is a great place for breakfast!

I stopped in for breakfast at this typical small-town restaurant. It was reassuring to see the staff wearing masks and practicing social distancing by having half the tables blocked off. However, I noticed that none of the customers were wearing masks. Unfortunately, the carpet was quite dirty. Although the bread was toasted, it was still clearly stale. On a positive note, the homemade hash browns were delicious, and the grits were tasty as well—it's not often that you come across grits on the menu. I would have rated this place three stars if they had required patrons to wear masks.

Delicious food! It's a charming little restaurant, and Tina is an amazing waitress! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Every Friday morning, my best friends and I visit Magpie's. The service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. My personal favorite is the Breakfast Skillet!
