The pizza was pretty good. The kids liked theirs. The eggplant sub was especially good. The Greek salad was a miss. It had nearly 30 black olives, way too many peppers and almost no lettuce. Bottom of the bowl maybe? Also the dressing was just a pouch of some commercial Greek style dressing. View all feedback.
What Uriah Brandon doesn't like about Tony's Pizza Hickory:
$55 for a large 2 topping pizza and 12 wings is highway robbery!!! [12 wings for $23 is asinine] Also they don't have items clearly listed on the menu [BeefRoni for example] that other locations have.
Food is always pretty good. Service is terribly slow and inconsistent. Randomly cancels orders on slice. Slice sends alert that order is ready but when you arrive you still wait 15-25 minutes. Randomly out of core items. Food is good but there are other local spots that make the hassle often not worth it.
Their italian sub is amazing. If you 're from Long Island looking for good pizza, this is the place to try!
Food has been great every visit this far, but the AC unit in the ceiling was dripping water in the waiting area-not cool. That Needs to be addressed. Overall good experience.
Skip the Italian sandwich. They literally put one peice of ham on it. They missed the other meats listed on the menu as well as the provolone cheese What a waste of 25 buck (my hubby and I both got Italian subs).
I bought a 24inch NY style extra cheese and pepperoni, ordered online and drove 30 min away to pick it up. When I got it home we find the the bottom of pizza is burnt and extra thin, crumbles apart with each bite like a cracker I'm so disappointed because Tony's usually has the best pizza
