Always the best and never a farewell
My meal was enjoyable, and the waitress was friendly. Everything was going well until I got to the register. For two strawberry waffles with sausage, one strawberry waffle, one salt and pepper catfish dinner, and three drinks, I was charged for each item separately, plus an extra drink that we didn’t order and an additional charge of 70 cents for seasoning. What?! I've been dining at this location for thirty years and have never faced such a billing issue before. Since I was with a child and my mother, I decided to avoid causing a scene. They did refund me for the extra drink, but I still ended up paying $52 for the meal and tipped the waitress for her service. I'm hesitant to return given the confusion at the register. Just a heads up.
