I'm not sure if we visited on a bad day, but our experience here was nothing like the glowing reviews suggested. The staff was barely friendly; we hardly received a greeting. There was zero conversation despite being the only customers at the time. This is one of the best places in Western North Carolina for craft beer, without a doubt! Ben and his staff are absolutely fantastic, and I'm consistently impressed by everything they've accomplished at the venue. The beer selection is vast and easy to navigate, featuring a variety of national and international brands. They also offer many local options with an extensive design list. I've attended some great events there, such as trivia nights and major beer releases. It’s a must-visit spot when you're in Hickory!
I absolutely love this place! The owner is wonderful, and they consistently offer a fantastic selection.

Found some good beets but would like to see more red ales.
Sooo many kinds if craft beer to buy by the can/bottle and lots of great beer on draft to enjoy on-site. You can even buy food somewhere else and eat it there to enjoy with your beer. Owner operated. Nice guy. Game room downstairs. Support local.
