After an early morning hike at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary (a great place to watch birds), we were in need of breakfast. The Dandelion is conveniently located right across from the tower. It is a small café with delicious food. We ordered the French toast made from their homemade bread. We had a wonderful dining experience in a lovely atmosphere at this restaurant. The new management is devoted to upholding the tradition of showcasing seafood dishes. We visited for brunch today and although there was some tension due to the old owner's reluctance to fully let go, the food and service were still fantastic. We definitely plan to return in the future.

It was beautifully presented, fluffy, and had a great taste, served with what seemed to be maple syrup. I usually don't order French toast for breakfast, but this was the best I've ever had. The rest of the menu also looked appetizing. Overall, a great spot for bird watching and a delicious breakfast or lunch.
A few weeks ago, my parents and I took my children out to celebrate their 6th and 8th grade achievements at this restaurant. After ordering drinks, we were informed that the kitchen was running behind schedule. Unfortunately, we underestimated how far behind they were. My children ordered waffles while my parents and I ordered omelets with toast. It took a surprisingly long 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive, with no discount or significant apology offered. While we were not expecting fast service, the wait was excessive. The children's waffles were disappointing, as they were only a plain square waffle that was overly crunchy. Despite the great location and charming atmosphere, we do not plan on returning due to the overall experience being lacking.
Delicious locally grown fresh foods. We enjoyed breakfast. Nice atmosphere.
Fresh ingredients, friendly service, homemade baked goods. This is a breakfast and lunch cafe with a warm welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return so I can try more of the items on the menu.
