Very good food. Great service. I liked the atmosphere also. The bathroom left something to be desired though.
We've been dreaming about the cheese grits since stumbling onto this gem about 3 months ago. Finally made it back yesterday and arrived just before opening to join the long line of people waiting. We got a table and were prepared for a wait while the kitchen caught up with the hungry crowd. We were patient but at some point Destiny walked by the table and was surprised that we hadn't been served. She hustled the kitchen and we were soon enjoying Eggs Benedict, Monte Christo and those amazing creamy, cheesy grits! I couldn't wait and took a bite before I remembered to take a photo.
Driving through town, decided to give this place a chance. I’m so glad we did. Food was excellent! Atmosphere was fun, service was great, pricing was good as well. This will definitely be on our radar when we come back through town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our server Shamil was the saving grace of this location. He was better than most servers in midtown and did his best to accommodate us. However, the restaurant itself is giving mixed signals on what they’re trying to provide as far as experience goes. The food was tasty, elevated, and we had no complaints. At the time we came in, while there were over a dozen people, only four others were customers. All of the staff was crowded around where we were sitting, having several loud intermingling conversations and one of their younger children was crawling on the floor underneath the barstools. We have zero problems with kids but it just seems like a weird message to send out to your customers when the restaurant seems to be geared to fun elevated. We were hoping for an intimate and modern experience but what we got was boisterous and uncouth. The place has potential, but is definitely less of an “experience” and more of a hangout.
Came here for lunch. Our group got tacos, burger, margarita flatbread. Service was good (but, not very smiley). Food was average. Flatbread was not hot and pretty hard/crunchy and hard to chew. Cute little place.
