Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Hiawassee

Blah. hadn't had enough staff to serve customers in the lobby. I had a long bed literally lkw and waa too frustrated to place a job. ends up to another local ice business. instead of that was very delicious.

Dairy Queen does not make the ice cream look like they're supposed to. It seems like a small thing, but it's important to me due to the child memories associated with going there with my family as a kid. I'm always let down by this.

This place is going down down down. Absolutely a disgrace. The owner’s would be very disappointed. This place made 3 out of 4 of us sick. All on the ice cream side. Had to tell them 3 times our order. Just a disgrace. As locals we are done with this place!!!!

I went here a little after 4 and ordered a number five combo with fries and a Coke from the drive-thru, the hamburger smelled like rotten beef, and if that's not bad enough the condiments were pouring out of the side of the sandwich.

The owners of this Dairy Queen are extremely nice and personable. I’ve always loved coming here. However, over the past few months when visiting I’ve noticed that some of the employees are less than thrilled to be working there. Tonight was the worst experience I’ve had there. While at the window waiting I saw an employee pull our brownie out of the microwave without using gloves or washing her hands first. Immediately after removing it from the microwave she stuck her hand down in her pocket and got her phone out and was scrolling. The lady with pink hair who took our order kept rushing us and was very short and snippy. When we paid her at the window she said at least four times how she was ready to go home and even asked us what time it was. I thought it was very rude; she wasn’t nice at all.
