Just before they closed on Sunday, we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly Italian owner. We had the most delicious wild boar dish, which was generously seasoned with black pepper, celery, and potatoes. The garlic bread was perfect as well. Very good. foccacia sandwiches were delicious and cheap. gnocchi was beautiful and light. they enjoy our meal in the courtyard on the back of the restaurant. also the young lady who took the job was extremely polite.

Excellent a gem of a find. Great staff excellent service and the best hot chocolate I have ever had. We felt really safe and comfortable sitting in the courtyard setting. A good menu of Italian food was also available if required.
We went on beautiful sunny day. Delightful courtyard seating with parasols for each table. Food delicious and friendly efficient service. Great find in quiet quarter of Hexham.
