El Pollo Loco - Hesperia

If it's good, it's good, but a little too often I end up with a bowl full of burned ends or dry rubber-like chicken stables that were too long on the cooktop. The burned pieces suck especially because they are practically unusable * and* a carcinogen. I love this place, but I really wish they were a little more judicious to cut out the burned/cooked chickens.

This location has been the worse place in the H.D. I will never visit this location... I order a 16piece family meal of leg and thighs. I got 2 thighs and the rest were legs.. then I ordered a double chicken bowl with no rice and easy beans. They gave me a dish that looked like vomit.. and my loco salad looked as if my baby had made it herself. I called them to let know how upset I was, the woman who answered did not care really about my complaint and would not do anything about the mistakes they made... I would have loved to be able to give them negative stars,but since we are not allowed I gave them the least I was àble to....

My husband and I both had the four-part meal as we missed lunch and were so hungry. It had four pieces, but contain a wing and a drumstick. We usually share a chicken breast at home and I think we have more meat than we do in El Pollo Loco. Not the feast we expected. At almost $30 for the two of us it was definitely not a good value.

I have tried to like this place over and over but no such luck. Everytime I go the chicken is so dry you need to take a drink just to swallow your bite. I have ordered the family meals and I have ordered the chicken taco salads no matter what I get the chicken is dry and disappointing. Why spend that much money to have to toss the food? I rather just go to stator bros in same parking lot and get a cooked chicken from the deli instead from now on! Sorry I tried

I love el pollo loco but every time I go there they could never get my order right. I asked for 4 salsas and 4 avocado salsa when I checked I only got 4 containers. Don't order the salad with the quesadilla it was really bad. The tortilla was hard and cold not good at all. I will not order that again. The service is good I just wished they would listen when you order.
