It's so much better now that we can arrive at a more reasonable time instead of having to show up far in advance with snacks in my handbag like we used to (my elderly mother is diabetic, so timing can be crucial). The hostesses were friendly and seated us right away. Chris, our waiter, was excellent. Our order was accurate, and the food was delicious. What User doesn't like about Houlihan's Hershey:
"We did not receive any additional tasty bites on our plates, such as maïs fritters. No bread was served with our meal, and water was only offered when we asked for it. Given the price of $34.00 for a filet, it would have been nice to have some small extras included. The steaks were good, the baked potato was large, and the green beans were also well-prepared.".
Food is always great there, are we just was awesome and very helpful! Table was a little small for six people.. but overall a great night
Just that it’s a Houlihans it’s a winner. The tomato soup is a highlight.
Have reservations, which we did. We were sat in a decent booth. The drinks were delicious. We shared an appetizer (calamari) and added Cesar salads to our entrees. The special entree creole chicken was good, bit spicy though. My husband had a steak, however he was not impressed by it. It lacked flavor. He did not care for the mashed potatoes that came with the entree either. Noise level was medium, it’s hard when it’s the evening time and families are meeting up together after the holidays. We are going to be taking a break from eating here due to the food being less than desired for.
Our server was the sweetest! She was kind to my toddler son who was sad when we came in and she quickly made him smile. Food tasted great!
I visited for New Year's Eve and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for watching the Hershey Kiss drop.
