Carmen’s Cafe - Herrin

Been here twice...food did not disappoint. Staff the first time; during the day were amazing. Second visit In the evening; staff were not accommodating even though we were extremely polite. I hate what customer service workers have to go through withbad customers, but we went out of our way to be nice, and were met with complete annoyance. Who knows; she may have had a badday.

Amazing ice cream, flavor and texture are both on point. The food is really good too, good portions for the price.

They serve homemade Ice creams. We had Burger with bacon fries and drink. Burgers were large, fries were crisp not greasy. Was the old dairy Queen in Herrin. Will go back for Ice cream they had lots of flavors and popsicles in all flavors. We liked itwould go back again.

Went for the first time tonight. I was hesitant to try it early on due to so many mixed reviews but wanted to make my own opinion. I 'm so glad I did, because it was great. I had a cheeseburger and honestly it was one of the best fast food burgersI 've had in a very long time. Veggies tasted very fresh. My daughter had the fruit salad and loved it. What a great andhealthier alternative for a sweet treat. We will definitely be back! Great addition to Herrin ????

I tried Carmen's for the first time today. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries. The fries were such a soggy disgusting mess, they were inedible. The burger was not much better, it was doused with so much mustardI couldn't taste much else. Maybe it was an off day, but I certainly can't recommend it based on this experience.
