This was my second visit, and once again, the food was incredible. The atmosphere here is truly unbeatable. Our meals arrived hot, fresh, and in a timely manner. I ordered the Gumbo while my wife had the Salmon, and everyone else in our group loved their dishes just as much. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have a bit more sauce on the gumbo. What Daryl Mayert doesn't like about Garage Grill Herriman:
First off, the atmosphere and service were wonderful here. But the food, not so much. I tried the garlic aioli burger first and the garlic was so hot, like that's all you could taste! The server promptly put in a new burger order after I gave an honest opinion of the garlic burger. The next burger that came was a traditional burger with bacon and avocado. Yummy right? It was so boring. Needed salt. And for a burger a... View all feedback.
We had a nice visit to the Garage Grill. We went on a Friday, just after 5pm, as a group of 4 and immediately were seated. Worth noting they don't do reservations same-day or for groups smaller than 6. Our waitress was really great and kept things running smoothly. We had the pretzel and spinach artichoke dip appetizers which were quite nice. I had expected a couple smaller pretzels, so the one giant one was a surprise (but not a bad one! . I liked the kids menu

After seeing other reviews, I was worried about coming here on Memorial Day without a reservation, but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Any brewery that serves sour beer gets my approval, and theirs was delicious! My friends ordered a few appetizers; I didn't sample the onion rings, but they looked appetizing. The shishito peppers were lightly battered and fried, served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I would describe them as flavorful rather than spicy, but it may vary for others. I ordered the brisket.
I had high hopes for The Garage, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. It felt more like a one-time visit rather than a place I'd want to return to. The wait times are absolutely terrible, and it seems to be a constant issue. We tried to dine here three separate times before actually getting a table. When we inquired, they informed us that they don’t take reservations or offer call-ahead seating. For instance, on a Saturday at 8 PM, we faced a two-hour wait for a party of two, and on a Wednesday at 6 PM for a party of four, the wait was over an hour. Ultimately, we finally managed to eat there on a Thursday.
Super yummy! The burgers are top notch! I love the menu here. We had great service and the vibe is very cool! Kind of pricey for a week night dinner, but the food is very good. Please get the butter cake for dessert! It?s SO delicious
