Me and my hiking group stopped by here Memorial Day weekend. There was 7 of us, and We found it easy to book the place in a short amount of time. We just did Two rooms! The rooms were clean, comfy, high ceilings and spacious : we were so impressed by this lodge we found. It’s a hidden gem in a beautiful town. It’s so green and lush its unbelievable. And at the inn, there are Views of peacocks and deer from our bedroom... View all feedback.
What Jeffie P doesn't like about Amber Bear Inn:
The food is up-charged upon cashing out. It's significantly different than what's listed on the menu . Is it an honest mistake? Or is something more nefarious going on .. And the quality of the food was a major disappointment as well. It was about average. View all feedback.
I stayed here as a base camp at the beginning of an outdoor adventure. What a great place! You have everything you need there, including a full restaurant. The grounds are beautiful. Will definitely come back!
My Husband and I are pilot escorts for oversize while waiting for permission for Idaho, we came across this sweet little jewel. Stunning and incredibly welcoming. Must be over. The food delish!!! Cookie, the owner is warm and welcoming!!
Wow. I don't know how to describe it. Take 400 Acres in West Montana. Put a carefully designed B
So a great place to stay! The owners are very friendly and welcoming, there are tons of walking nearby, and it is a beautiful area. The rooms are large and comfortable and the food was great. SUPER dog friendly, my pup had a great time. I recommend staying here, I will definitely be back:
I don't have enough positive words to describe the experience my group had. When we arrived on the property, we were met with midwestern-style hospitality and completely personable interactions. When we went into our rooms, I was very impressed with the attention to detail, cleanliness, and general uses of the space to provide a holistic and relaxing experience. Watching the peacocks from the second floor was very entertaining. Owners said bears frequented the property, but we sadly didn't see any. We went for some walks on the property, which allowed us to see more of the property. The scene was phenomenal- open fields and large mountains to look at, which you can see from some bedrooms in the house. There is quite a bit of hiking nearby, which we look forward to doing later this summer. Amber Bear was a great find, and perfect embodiment of small town stays. I couldn't have been more impressed with the hospitality received and the friendliness of all guests on the property. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back!
