Contribute FeedbackWe visited this place about a month after opening, that is, around Sep 2015. We took our dad there. 3 weeks later, we invited a very fine couple to go dinner with us.Their menu and food is excellent. The atmosphere was great with nice instrumental jazz music until they messed it up with some juan gabriel...The reason this place is terrible is because on the first visit, they overcharged us a wine that normally costs you $150 at the supermarket. They charged $500. Casa Madero Rosado Reserva. On the second visit with the fine couple they thought we wouldn't remember and wouldn't notice and went audacious enough to charge us $750 for the same exact bottle. We didn't complain simply because we had those guests with us and didn't feel like making one of those numbers. It is a shame that they wanna get rich so quick, thinking word will not spread out about their disloyal and scammy business practices.
It is true that we were biased into going to this Restaurant and try to make a reservation. You know that when you try something really good, you either choose to highly recommend it or to hide the information from acquaintances (not from friends, really), so many of our yoguinis in our yoga class were very enthusiastic about this "new" and marvellous italian restaurant. "Something we had never seen in Guaymas, Sonora."It is most probable that this is a true fact. At least in the little time I have lived here, I had not seen in this small town a concept so carefully taken care of than this restaurant. At least it gets near the real Italian cuisine in some recipes, I would not recommend them all, for there are some dishes that are far from being even good; but I give them some points for trying hard to make an 'Italian ambiance' even if the staff needs more training into high quality service. The premise is very clear fro Toscanos Guaymas, aim high and you will definitely get there one day.
