We... read more Since the Café des LWL Museum was unfortunately closed, but with my companions were the big coffee and cake hungry, we went over the nearby shopping street. We also really found several attractive cafes and restaurants, but the two always found a hook. I stayed in the front because my life rings don't actually require virgins anymore. This changed abruptly when we stood in front of the shop windows of 'Bäckerei und Café Wiacker'. It was not the cruel Halloween decoration, but the devilish stagberry cake! It was with Baiser, but I can't resist. The café had to be. Our decision was completely correct, because at the counter we even found roast beer vanilla creampie that made my mouthwater more. When you enter the shop, you will find yourself in the storage room where bread, rolls, baked goods and in glass shops also cakes have their place. Then we continue to the café with cozy, a little old-fashioned, furnished seating areas. For the also available soups and other warm dishes there is in the middle a furniture with copper containers that was really interesting to see. The café was great, but again we were lucky that a table was opened, from which one could observe the Lord of the Torts at work through a huge glass pane, and before the operation was properly cleared up, we were there. We ordered a cappuccino (a 3€, the two other poppy apricot cake with cream (each 3,50€ 0,90€ and I my roasted beer cake (3,70€) The service was fast, attentive and funny. With our order we were very satisfied, so simply tastes sin. DDD The café is only recommended! Unfortunately, the average of the reviews suffers from some negative reviews of a Bochum café that does not belong to it.

Unfortunately, the café itself has really come into the years - the facility, especially the seating is sometimes very desperate and the prices are quite sharp in contrast to the numerous competition on site. Only the service I have experienced as a topp in terms of friendliness and customer orientation. Too bad it has lost so much of its own charm over the years.
