Nice outside seats! The food was great and the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Appropriate prices and there were Sanitizers on the table. There was also a children's menu. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wooden Barrel Restaurant:
Food not as advertised carrot and Thai Curried carrot soup was neither carrot(was butternut) and there was nothing Thai about it. Supervisor said that is how they make their soup and images on menu were wrong. Tortillas on chicken wrap were quite undercooked. Waitress came back to ask if we wanted chicken patty in our vegetarian burger. Potjie was nice. View all feedback.
The vegan burger was delicious and the toppings only complicated the taste. At first glance it looked a little small, but it ended up the perfect portion size. However, the texture of the chips was somewhat “rubber-y” and could have been cooked for longer. The atmosphere and the view of the sea and the mountain also added to the overall pleasant experience. Shoutout to our waiter, Givemore, for the excellent and friendly service and tips on what to order :
Had some lovely breakfast options at this pitstop while out and about at Hermanus Market. There was something for the vegan (with avos), something for the sweet-tooth (with pancakes) and something for the carnivores (with beef/pork sausage). Lovely smoothies good coffee was our preferred choice of beverage and the stunning views made this a top breakfast spot.

Had the glacial bone and lasagna, both tasty with the glacial bone take the victory. Gets good service with a smile.
