The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for a great atmosphere. The decor is quite simple, but that’s to be expected from a cozy corner bar like this one.

I hadn't been to Hermann since the near escape from the 1993 flood, but after having prostate cancer surgery seven weeks ago, I decided it was time for my first... read more I hadn't been to Hermann since the near escape from the 1993 flood, but after having prostate cancer surgery seven weeks ago, I decided it was time for my first outing. We chose to return to Hermann to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Sharp's opens at 11 AM, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the doors already open when we arrived just ten minutes early. The interior was very nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed some delicious food—tenderloin, a burger, and fries. However, things took a turn when smokers arrived. Since it’s an open area, there was no way to avoid the smoke. I had to make my payment at the bar right next to a smoker. As I write this the next day, I'm still dealing with allergies and a stuffy nose.

Only complaint is they apparently still allow smoking inside the restaurant.
