The lady and her husband (who paints naïf paintings, beautiful ones of marine environment) manage a small pension in a traditional Tunisian house with the inner courtyard and the fountain. The rooms, on the upper floors, overlook the courtyard. On the first floor there is a first covered terrace and on the top the beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the small fishing port and the cemetery on the sea. Suggestive. I ate, along with Tunisian colleagues who are home here, a good homemade cuscus of custom fish. Market cuisine, home cooking, do not expect written menus or many dishes to choose from.
