Restaurant & Hotel Roggerli - Hergiswil

A great restaurant with a great view from the terrace. Great staff and very fine cuisine. Come again. We ate very well again. The service is simply perfect.

This is a nice and cozy restaurant. The staff is very friendly, the service is good. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a cordon blue (there were 2 sizes in the menu: a smaller and a big one, they didn’t ask me when I ordered but for sure they brought the bigger size), for me it was more than enough, but very tasty. The cheese had truffles and the meat inside was very delicious. As a side I ordered Spätzle and tasted like freshly made. The hamburguer and other dishes that we order was also very good. I also recommend the housewein. The price is high though (I guess is ok for people who live in Switzerland and are used to it). The restaurant has a view of Lake Lucerne which is outstanding. I would recommend this place.

Nette Bedienung und gutes Essen kann man im Roggerli geniessen inklusive toller Aussicht. Wir haben ein Stück Fleisch auf heissem Stein genossen. Fleischqualität war top.

We really enjoyed our meal at Roggerli. There were 6 of us, 2 Swiss and 4 Americans. The Swiss each ordered steak tartare with cognac to pour over it. They said it was the best ever! We also ordered goulash which came with bread dumplings, oh so delicious. Another ordered liver with onions and is still raving about it. Bottom line, this chef knows his way around the kitchen! All our food was wonderful and service was warm and friendly.Did I mention we ate outdoors with a lovely view of the lake and mountains. Magnificent! Thank you to these lovely folks.
