14 of us booked on Sunday afternoon and then a dinner later in the week. we have pre-ordered the food and every meal was hot and well cooked. the owners are very friendly and welcoming. the pub is small, so it is best to book. in advance when they are a big group. next year we will definitely be back for more beautiful meals.

We have dined here with 14 people from our craftsmanship group at two locations, service was excellent as that was eating, we have ordered our food, we have not waited long to be served, owners wonderful
We have booked a table for a Saturday night as we were the week ahead. we were looking for a dog friendly pub and that was the right choice. eating is homemade and delicious, very generous portions for a very reasonable price. these couple know how to do it! as vegetarian his so hard to find good pub with good food choices, this is the first pub I do in quite a lot the most meat dishes as vegetarian meal also. I had the lasagne that came with chips, salat and garlic bread and I was still full the next morning! the pub was busy on Saturday night when the kricket club came and the landwife even apologised when she said they weren't so busy in the regular and she's sorry that we didn't get them full attention. well, there was no need to regret, as we were very well looked after and made her a fantastic job! Many thanks for a welcoming and delicious meal, I would definitely visit again if I was in the opposite!
That must be one of the best pub dishes I've ever had. the food is cooked to order and my word there is a lot of it! I had one of the specials, leber and speck in a think homemade wobble engraving. I think the lick must come from an elephant, it was so big and young has tasted it well. all the other different meals my family had were also on the extremely generous side. beautiful couple that run the pub, very welcoming and best of all dog can also come. fantastic!
We were staying as a family group in the nearby Durstone Cottages and our group of 22 , covering four generations , were very pleased with Sunday Roast Dinner taken at this pub . Sports enthusiasts in our group were also able to twice visit...to view football and cricket on specialist TV channels . There is a good selection of beers and the lunches are generous , wholesome and good value . A friendly landlord and staff .
