What mark p doesn't like about The Plough Inn:
Rooms, building in general not good, outside areas very scruffy, menu very limited, staff unkempt, kitchen open when the boss feels like it, generally, why are they even open to visitors, rural community only, ive no issues with that , dont try and be something else, we were staying there , got back about 6.40pm, few drinks , asked to order food , 8.03pm, no, kitchen is closed , hopeless, retire, let a young couple h... At plough for a quiet little weekend. the plough is easy to find and is only 10min away from hereford. steph was very welcoming, and we had a beautiful double room on the front but on a side, so not directly above the pub. Beautiful large room with a good view of the fields and hills over the street. beautiful large sofa in the room as well as a private shower room. the bar is only small but a traditional pub with separate areas to eat, drink and billard. very welcoming in winter with the large wood stove fired and dogs running around. great evening atmosphere and a good laugh with the locals. steph makes a common fish and chips! there are many beautiful walks in the opposite: a walk through fields and forests and back into the pub for a decent pint tick a few boxes for me. we wanted a cooling, and we did. thank you steph.

Fantastic hosts, great rooms...and beautiful free range eggs from their own hens for brekky
Ever since first speaking to the landlord and lady, Dean Steph, to arrange accommodation for a stag do, they've been nothing but accommodating and incredibly helpful. The fields for camping are amazingly peaceful alongside having everything you'd need for a good night under the stars. The beer garden The free roaming chickens The price absolute bargain!
Lovely old country pub, fantastic hosts and a fine selection of beers and spirits. Food is spot on and huge portions!. Accommodation is clean and comfortable quiet and safe. What more can you ask for.
