We went there for my wife's birthday as it had been recommended by neighbours. We finally arrived after a Post Code lottery trying to find the place so we were a little late. We ordered the drinks and were shown to our table. We could hardly read the menu due to very low lighting and a candle but we ordered and the wait was reasonable. Very friendly staff and well kept bar ,traditional ales ,lovelly kept garden well worth a visit,with a very cosy atmosphere.Just the place to chill out and relax.

Amazing views and wonderful food. Sunday roast beef was delicious it was worth the 5 mile round trip walk and they welcome dogs what's not to love. Defo my new go to place for Sunday Lunch but might have to try the Thursday Steak night as well!!!!!!
A must visit if you find yourself in the area. Wonderful old building, delicious food and a good range of beers and cider. I can highly recommend it
Can't comment on the food as we only had a drink there but the quaint pub and pretty gardens were spot on. The only downside was the unsmiling lady who served us but perhaps she was having a bad day. All in all well worth a visit.
