What 861caroline doesn't like about The Chase Inn:
We were greeted warmly, shown to our seat, ordered what we wanted waited waited 45minutes for our food to arrive. I had steak ale pie which was swimming in gravy (a jug would be better) the food was extremely salty, the pie crust like rock. The gravy in the pie was congealed, the chips overcooked. a small old English pub in a country with fantastic views over the valley of the terrace and the pub garden. eating is really good value for money. the menu is small, but has kapuze traditional pub food such as steak and ale pee, lasagne and not forget the very full homemade burger, served with thick speck and cheese and naturally chips. a cozy pub that is very popular and friendly staff has View all feedback.
