Rose Cottage Tea Garden

What a delightful discovery! Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. We ordered a sandwich and baguettes, which arrived promptly and tasted wonderfully fresh. We were highly impressed. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. Additionally, all safety measures were in place for COVID-19.

What a stunning place to sit and overlook the river boats passing by. The sandwiches were great, best bread, fresh ingredients and the afternoon tea was delightful. All made better by the wonderful attentive service Remember there is parking g immediately outside for customers so no need to pay at pay and display if you are going here ..

My partner and I went to this tearoom on two separate occasions during our visit to Symonds Yat East. The first time we enjoyed a delicious cream tea, and the second time we had a tasty tuna baguette, both accompanied by their excellent pots of English Breakfast Tea. The food was fantastic and the service was efficient and welcoming. Great job.

After our walk, the best way to relax and enjoy a nice pot of tea and cakes is at this restaurant. We had to wait a while because the lady was busy, but she kept us informed that she would be with us shortly. It was a lovely day and the place was bustling with customers. The menu had a good selection of food choices, but we opted for cakes. They also had sandwiches, baguettes, and cream teas available. The restaurant is a nice place to sit by the river, relax, and watch the world go by.

Nice little tea room. Reasonably priced cakes hot drinks. Lovely views of the river Wye. Efficient service, not particularly friendly but the staff were very young. Tables not cleaned once customers left which isn’t good in current times but, other than that, a pleasant enough place.
