Mr. Chips - Herefordshire, County of

Great early evening snack. Fresh cooked chips and a table to eat them on gets a big thumbs up. I heard from friends that since ex-mayor Williams days of ownership and selling Mr Chips that this place had gone downhill so I decided to give it a try rather than go over the road to the Galleon. I was not disappointed with the service and quality. What detracts 5 stars is the stream of deliveroo/ just eat drivers hovering around the counter like vultures and barging through customers waiting for their food. Maybe a hatch from the till area outside like some other establishments that I have seen would do.....

Called in to get some chips after the football Tuesday night and had the worst chips I have ever had. They were undercooked, very pale in colour and the chips were very soft outside as well as inside. Value for money ...no way would Igo again ...no chance.

Lovely, fresh food. Fish cooked beautifully with light, melt in your mouth batter. Staff were friendly and professional. Ordered small cod but was enormous. Great value. Would recommend.

Terrible Service waited over a hour and a half for 3 chips and 2 curry sauce absolutely outrageous terrible would advise don't eat here or order from here

No chicken in curry and chip when ask for chicken and curry and chip bit this is first time this has happened
