We visited the anchor cafe for 2 hot drinks, and the service was pretty bad. The women seemed quite grumpy as there was no 'Hello! ' Or 'How are you? 'The hot drinks were nice though and the place is nicely decorated. View all feedback.
Helen and her team serve a great breakfast and the drinks are always hot a regular clientele is a good recommendation !
Warm friendly welcome, swift service, poached eggs done to perfection. Clean tidy. Simple, nothing fancy. Average prices. Happy to call again. I'd recommend, for the smile and chat alone :
Popped in for breakfast whilst passing through on way to family visit. The handful of times we have visited we haven't been able to fault the breakfasts, always hot to the last mouthful. Polite friendly staff.
Very tasty simple breakfast,good value and a lovely cup of tea too clean tidy place to eat in it a nice cafe in a good location
I am a regular at Anne 's Anchor Café, and can confidently state that you won 't find a better breakfast or brunch anywhere else locally. I have introduced friends and neighbours....who then return of their own volition. This is recommendation in itself.
