Popped in for a light lunch which was fine.Staff were friendly helpful. We availed of the “Eat Out to Help Out” offerCovid-19 restrictions in place ie track trace forms, social distancing, hand sanitizers, masks, table service. The 3 Shires Garden Centre itself is very good reasonably priced 5 View all feedback.
What jones962 doesn't like about 3 Shires Garden Centre:
Went here today for lunch, or so I thought. My friend ordered fish and chips peas. Which she said was ok. I ordered a glazed ham and tomato and cheese pannini. It came, I opened it up and the filling was probably enough to do half a pannini. The meat was fatty and difficult to chew I took 3 bites and the filling was gone, that left me with two very soggy pieces of bread. It wasn't even crispy it didn't seem to have b... I didn't realize this garden center was owned by Blue Diamond! After previously having a poor lunch at the Blue Diamond center in Hereford, it seems that the company continues to provide poor service at their Dymock center. The first three items we chose from the menu were all "unavailable." The company really needs to improve their English tea bags as they are weak and lack flavor, even when using two tea bags. The absence of ingredients for the first three choices left us waiting for our lunch for what felt like forever. With a limited menu, you would expect them to be quicker. Overall, both venues were very disappointing and the management needs a shake-up. UPDATE: Both meals finally arrived. However, they were not as described - a coil of sausage with vegetables for me turned out to be no vegetables and no sausage coil. My wife left most of her meal as it did not look or taste good, with a minimal portion of vegetables and no coulis. The kitchen needs to pay attention to the menu and cook what is listed rather than what they feel like making. In conclusion, I would suggest choosing another garden center for lunch.
I had the worst coffee at this restaurant, second only to Greg's. It tasted like colored water. When we complained, we were told that my wife's decaf coffee came from a pod, so there was no remedy. They made me a new one, but it actually tasted like coffee, which made it even worse. I eventually gave up and left it. Terrible experience.
Met friend for lunch here, was very good, although they were short staffed the servers were very good, nice polite staff, the Christmas decorations are lovely. They have a lovely area with clothes, accessories and shoes, always end up buying something. Will be visiting again for lunch and a wander
We were looking forward to visiting Three Shires and travelling from Stroud it is in not on our doorstep and in excess of 20 miles.November and Garden centres do not look there best, but Three Shires could do with a revamp, it looks tired and past its best. All in all a disappointing visit, very little on offer in the Restaurant compared with our previous visits. We were looking forward to a Carvery, but all shut down and only light bites on offer. So many other Garden Centres are providing hot food. The Pond is a nice feature though, and the welcome received when requesting a table was very good.
Cannot understand why it is so difficult to make a baguette acceptable.I ordered a coronation chicken on brown bagette. When it came the Babette I'm sure was a part baked and had not been baked to finish it off .It was cold not fresh and very un appetising,as was my husband's prawn Babette on white again a part baked cold Babette. The crisps were soggy no crisp at all.Our bill for these and a tea for one and a latte came to£28 .86p .If you are going to charge 5star prices make sure that the food matches up .What a rip off ,sorry you've lost two customers.
