authentic Lebanese food, big schawarma, humus, falafel, Kibeh....we were glad to finally find an Arabic restaurant that we were sick of the same boring rice and drilling. hassan is a nice and friendly person with a great hospitality. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a tasty eating over chic hotels with tasteless eating. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shawarma Hassan:
I have mixed feelings about this review because the owner is a hard working man who tries to please his customers yet he talks too much and does not listen well to what we want. The food is fresh, but the cooking process is missing something. The fried chickpee balls are too large, so the interior does not cook well feel mushy, not firm. Falafel had no creamy sauce. I did not try anything else, so I can't comment. Pr... View all feedback.
I think this is by far one of the best places of Shawarma in Heredia. Hassan is a nice guy who always offers you the best price and great service. Great quality of food. Nice experience overall.
Small and family friendly shawarma. Look for falafels and their tahini sauce! It's the best Lebanese place to eat around the UNA.
This is a for sure hole-in-the-wall type of place, but it’s definitely authentic and delicious. I had the Turkish coffee, a date cookie, baklava, and the mixed plate. It was all spot on and I was definitely full after. I would say I preferred the chicken shawarma meat over the beef. If you like Arabian food I’d definitely recommend trying this place out. Additionally, there are no bathrooms as far as I could tell but there’s McDonald’s right across the street if you need it.

There are 3 off street parking spots immediately north of the restaurant, so that is a plus. This little eating joint has been there for years, so the owner/waiter must be doing something right. I wish him the best.
