Ajúa San Francisco - Heredia

I went last week with some friends because we were curious about this place and also because we wanted mex food (haha . I was really looking forward to get an Aztec Soup with guacamole and chips, so I ordered. Soup came really nice decorated, but the only detail is that it didn't come with chicken, so I was surprised. After I finish drinking my soup, that was delicious of course, I asked the waiter what happened with the chicken. He told me that that's how they serve the soup in there, but they can add the chicken if the costumer wants and ask for it (in a really friendly way , so that's what I will do next time I go there. Service is excellent, you can leave the car right next to the restaurant and you're allowed to use the funny pen whenever you are paying that's kinda tricky to use ;

We tried this restaurant as one of our friend recommended it... Food is decent they offer lots of options nothing really special we’ve tried better options... My wife fished her meal and the juice she asked never came... I’m writing this while waiting for somebody to ask us if we’d like something else like desert or the check... There is no body in the restaurant at this time service should be better... Don’t think I’d be come here again

I visited with my family for a Saturday lunch, the place was full and the turnover time was so long. The food was good overall had good taste however some of the plates were cold, we asked for the same plate and there were ingredients or sides missing in one of the plates, they forgot my mom's order and we had to wait longer for her plate. The attention wasn't good and the food taste and presentation could improve. The place is nice so I hope it makes some improvements for the future

So I was here just last week. I visited this place for 2 reasons. 1. is very close to my house and 2. It was recommended by a friend (she knows the owner). You must know I am a big fan of Mexican food , so I was expecting bold flavors and very authentic food. What I got? I got a very plane dish that I can order in any other restaurant. The menu is very compressed so there aren't that many options as I would have expected. The flavors are very plane and simple. The one good thing I can say is that the price is fair. I honestly wouldn't recommend it to someone else as I dont see the added value. To pride that you have an authentic Mexican restaurant you need to bring those bold flavors and so many options that Mexico has to offer. Not coming back, good try thought.

Excellent service. Especially for a Friday night. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I got the Steak Fajitas and it was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend.
