Very tasty and good food. Not “cheap”, but inexpensive! In summer with outdoor dining such as in the beer garden. Located right at the end of the Hengsteysee dam, on the Ruhr cycle path, a great place to visit. Children and dogs are welcome Parking: There is a somewhat uneven parking lot that belongs to the restaurant, you should be able to park a little so that there is space for as many vehicles as possible. There may be a few cars on the street in front of the restaurant, then about 50m walk towards Wetter, and finally on the Hagen side of the Hengsteysee, about 150m. There are plenty of parking spaces across the bridge. All free. Kid-friendliness: Children are very welcome Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the beer garden, but not into the restaurant itself. However, the staff is happy to help.

After a little confusion about the number of people, we were allowed to sit in the “winter garden”, which offered us a beautiful view and where the small children could also move around and have fun. We ate à la carte and the dishes were well received by us and all our guests. We would particularly like to highlight the young employee who did us a great favor by dealing with a “surprise cake” and was also very personable. The day was simply beautiful for us and the entire staff was nice and absolutely uncomplicated. So we can only recommend the proto. Thank you!
