Zaiqa Restaurant - Hercules
Zaiqa Restaurant
Description
This restaurant seems to have mixed reviews from customers who have experienced both positive and negative aspects of dining there. While some guests were highly impressed with the flavors and variety of dishes offered, others were disappointed with issues such as poor service, delayed orders, bland food, and missing menu items. Despite these negative experiences, there were also mentions of generous portions, delicious food options like goat curry and biryani, and friendly staff members. Overall, some customers seemed satisfied with their dining experience while others were left feeling underwhelmed. It may be worth trying out for the unique Indian dishes, but be prepared for potential service issues.

The food at the restaurant was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there were limited drink options available, with only soda or chai tea being offered. Additionally, we had to signal the waiter to get refills on water and bread.
We ordered a variety of dishes and I thought we would have leftovers, but to my surprise, the six of us finished almost everything except for a quarter piece of naan. We ordered lamb shank, goat curry, vegetable biryani, two orders of chicken tandoori, eggplant, chicken Karahi, stuffed naan, plain naan, and white rice. This goes to show how amazing this restaurant is. Additionally, two other families ordered take-out from here.
My boyfriend and I found this restaurant online and were impressed by its high ratings and positive reviews about the food, so we decided to check it out. We loved the food, especially the unique Indian dishes that we don't usually see at other Indian restaurants. The only drawback is that they don't offer alcoholic beverages, which we usually like to have with our spicy food. I wish the restaurant was closer so we could order takeout and enjoy it at home with a cold beer. Nevertheless, I highly recommend trying it out for the delicious food.
I had a Groupon for $20 off. There were a total of three people in my party. We ordered four samosas, fish, chicken tandoori and spinach which came with Naan and rice. We also placed an order for garlic naan and chai tea. Everything was really good. The server was nice, however she was chewing gum. She explained everything was served family style and that each serving could serve one or more. It was a great deal with the Groupon. I would love to come back for lunch and have the buffet!!
We ordered so much food that I was sure we had remnants, but I was surprised that the 6 of us were eating pretty much anything except a quarter of Naan. We order lamb shaft, goats Curry, Veg biryani, 2 orders of leg and thighs chicken Tandoori, aubergine, chicken Karahi, side order of filled naan, 4 naans and white rice. I want to show how good this place is. And two families gave orders for the takeover.
