Muffins & More Cafe - HEPBURN SPRINGS

We went here for milkshakes. I ordered 3 chocolate milkshakes and 1 blue heaven. A local customer arrived after us and received her order before us. We waited 20 minutes in a nearly empty shop for milkshakes. When we got our milkshakes I asked the kids if they were good. They said no. I tasted the chocolate milkshake. There was no chocolate flavour it tasted like plain milk. The blue heaven was ok, 1 of the chocolate milkshakes was just drinkable and 2 off the chocolate milkshakes tasted like plain milk. I told the lady that there was no chocolate flavour, she was fairly rude about it. She came over and flooded the milkshake with way too much chocolate syrup making it undrinkable. Then walked off. I then asked her to fix the other milkshake. It was 15 minutes before closing time, maybe the lady working there was a bit tired which made her cranky or just rude I'm not sure. Maybe they don't like out of towners here, that's the impression I got. Don't go here for milkshakes you will be disappointed.

Stopped off for a warm cuppa on a chilly Daylesford day and the coffee was the best. We had a muffin each which was so delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely make a stop over next we travel through the area..

We visited during a wet, busy morning. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable enjoyed our hot drinks. I noticed that tables are cleaned thoroughly between customers. We had toasted sandwiches, which were piping hot tasted good. This cafe gives large serves for a very reasonable price. Outside seating is available.

This cafe has a great vibe with locals and visitors alike. The regular patrons are an eclectic bunch and clearly enjoy the local hospitality. Breakfast was delightful with excellent poached eggs and coffee. The homemade muffins are works of art and look delicious. Don’t be fooled by first appearances, this is a quality cafe with good service. Thanks for your vote.

We met for lunch on a cool Autumn day enjoyed large pots of tea while we waited for our vegetable pancakes. This was huge with poached eggs hollandaise sauce to complement the very yummy pancakes. Prices are most reasonable, the staff are very friendly, and lots of locals go there every day.
