My husband ordered a steak and absolutely loved it! It was cooked perfectly. I decided to try the tacos with beans and rice, and they were also cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed them. The restrooms were beautiful and clean. We can't wait to come back again! View all feedback.
What Atlas Deane doesn't like about Pancho Villas Mexican:
This is the only Mexican restaurant in the area that is worth trying, but it is not completely authentic. The menu has been adjusted to cater to local tastes. However, it is not the fault of the restaurant. The service is excellent, with friendly wait staff. The atmosphere at the bar is fantastic. View all feedback.
Fantastic service hot delicious food and LOVED the got red sauce for the chips.... regular salsa was fresh also but imma spicier girl and they brought the best out ???? ..... Chicken n steak could a been presented a bit better , it was so fine and mixed in but the shrimp was amazing and cooked to perfection ???? definitely will be back the next time in Henryetta

If there was a way to put zero stars I would. Horrible service, rude, and cold food. We waited on drink refills for over 40 mins and an hour for a kids meal. And everything we got was cold and wrong. My bf got a quesadilla with extra beans and they gave him a side salad with guacamole and the quac got on the quesadilla and when we told our waiter it was wrong they just took the quesadilla and put it on a different plate with the quac still on the quesadilla. And we had to ask for our refills and we got ignored when we got up and asked for service.
The food was cold and unappetizing. My husband and I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and it was probably the worst meals we've had in a while. The salsa was awful, the food lacked flavor, and the chicken was tough. The waitress was inattentive and the kitchen staff were noisy with the dishes. We will not be returning. If I could give zero stars, I would. I rarely leave negative reviews but in this case, it's the truth.
What can I say? It?s perfect! Tapatío is one of those places you?ll be talking to your kids and grandkids about! Whether it?s the tostaguac swimming in queso or the chilé relleno swimming in queso, the family will be excited! We sat down after a long drive from ABQ to gather around with a table full of freshly fried chips, house made salsa and table side guacamole just like my Tia used to make. After apps, a 64 ounce Dos Equis, three margs, and a Don Julio shot, we were ready for dinner! Brayden decided the Molcajete with shrimp, steak, chorizo, cactus, and queso bath was the way to go! My hubby loved it. After stuffing our faces into an unstable state, we decided the sopapillas and fried ice cream would be a good ending to a fabulous meal. Whenever you?re traveling East or West on I-40, do yourself a favor and get uncomfortably comfortable at Tapatío! Where ?you don?t need no lifeguard to swim in our queso!?
