Then next up we had the... read more We've been here a number of times. Food is overall always very good. We started off with the clam chowder which is very good as always. Then next up we had the Thai style calamari. The frying it was a little different on this and this is similar to the batter that I've seen on fried clams it was definitely different from what we're used to but I did like the fact that you had the pepperoncinis. Most places we go, the peppers are just like red and green peppers. We like the peppers to have a little zest, these did. For our entrees Richard had the chicken curry. Which he thought was very good. I've had the crab cakes before, I didn't want to have two of them this time, so I got the Crab Cake Melt, which is an open-faced sandwich. It was very good and very filling. As usual stop by again when we're in the area. Vegetarian options: It's a nice place we're here obviously in late January so it's kind of you know, cold outside, but the river still looks really nice even with the ice on it. The summertime's really nice cuz they've got a patio outside that really gives you a close look at the river as it goes by. The only thing I'd recommend with the patio is do something about the yellow jackets cuz they are really nasty in the summer whenever we eat out there. I know they basically build nests in the stone wall there but there's a way to basically send in some kind of bug spray to knock them off.

We had the french dip and Reuben too for our san... read more We had an amazing experience at Daniel's Pub. We had their french onion soup to start and oh my was it AWESOME! We had the french dip and Reuben too for our sandwiches and those were excellent too. The bread tasted freshly baked!! From start tofinish and including the atmosphere were all wonderful. We live an hour away but I would most definitely drive it JUST to go toDaniel's again! To add to this our waitress was so kind and on top of everything. We will definitely be back .... and hopefullysoon!

We arrived when it was pretty empty so it was pretty relaxing. I got something like a taco salad, which was made cheaply despite the large portion.
