Casa Teja - Hennessey
Casa Teja
Description
A beloved small‑town Mexican spot is best known for its Saturday prime rib and ribeye — lauded as top‑tier and cooked to order — alongside reliable staples like chips & queso, shrimp cocktail and chimichangas. Friendly, family‑run service and quick à la carte fare contrast with inconsistent waits, occasional missing sides, uneven portions and cramped, noisy front seating. The back dining area is quieter. Modest décor and small‑lot parking underline its unpretentious charm: a destination for steak lovers and regulars, despite service and menu reliability issues.

I always enjoy dining here! The food is excellent, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. The owner is also really personable with the guests.
