Four of us enjoyed a very pleasant amiable afternoon tea for a 70th birthday, the sandwiches were yummy, as were the scones, the jam was rather too sweet for my palate, and I'm not sure if the clotted cream had been frozen as it was a bit grainy and no taste! There was a lovely panacotta in a small glass with a pshyllis. We all had whatever tea or coffee that we preferred . There was also a variety of cakes, which we... View all feedback.

Fabulous afternoon tea! Contained traditional favourites that everyone enjoys- sandwiches accompanied by chocolate cake, Victoria Sponge, shortbread, carrot cake, mini mince pie, mini vanilla dessert of course a scone with cream jam! Good simple comfort food! Everything was homebaked too. Friendly, attentive staff looked after us- nothing was too much trouble. We properly relaxed and spent a couple of hours thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Will definitely return for another!
Not as good my other visits Sandwiches the bread was starting to dry out, cake presentation was as if they were just piled on, Cream was a little warm, and the item in the glass was hard to tell the flavour.
Wonderful generous afternoon tea; However ,confusing venue with a Hotel of the same name down the road.

There was also a variety of cakes, which were too much for us, so we both took them home. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The room was tastefully decorated with linen covers on the chairs. The only real negative was that we were charged £15 instead of £14, as my husband went to settle up I didn't realise till we got home.
