Joe's Kiosk - Henley Beach

I often ride to henley from highbury, along the linear park. one of my favorite snacks in this caffe, are their roasted cheese and tomato sandwiches, with a cup of coffee. I guess their toasties are pretty high. sadly the last two have visited. a little let in. the first was this commentary of one of the workers at the order, “ sorry, we don’t sell it”. politely stated, even though I understood that the employee was probably new. another worker quickly corrected her and I ended up with my toastia, minus the tomats. the second was today 9/1/2023 first error was small coffee and cup, although 2 cups were ordered. second mistake, was 2 ham, cheese and tomaten croissants instead of toasties, these were sorted again with promise of the order. After about 1/2 hours, one of us spoke to a worker and reminded them of our order. about 10 minutes later, came the toasties, minus the tomaten. Once again, they were returned. the thing was finally solved and we received a “toastia” on the house, which was a little consultation. this place is very popular and honest serve great food and quite reasonable coffee. I just need to make your order right.

Everything really went wrong. they had not noticed sitting on the booking. then they took forever to drink menu, then didn't have the beer we ordered from the menu, then they ran out of the food we had ordered, we had to get something. then they let us sit for a disordered time waiting for our food when others received their. the lack of service staff in the room also meant that I could no longer get water for the table or something else. the oysters were good quality, the rest was not good. the garnels were chewing, my brioche was burned. that's dry. never go to lunch again. Despite all apologies, it did not come into the kitchen to maybe illuminate the bill or throw a drink or make good. very bad experience around.

A beautiful place with eating to get with friendly restaurative service especially from april, the waiter sky on earth

Excellent service and brilliant eating, personal was so friendly and welcoming, we are so happy to have this locally, we will definitely be back soon, huh Mexican pizza was out of this world and large portion sizes, many thanks.

The little cafe was right on the beach so had a great beachy feel along with awesome views along the beach. Great coffee, salad and scrabbled eggs. Friendly and great service considering how busy they were. Would highly recommend for a easy breakfast on the...run
