By any measure, this restaurant is very reasonably priced. Its small, intimate setting offers excellent service, and the meticulous attention to detail in preparation for a limited number of guests makes it a fantastic value. Wolfgat is truly a culinary adventure that everyone should experience at least once. I, for one, will definitely be returning soon.

This place isn't your typical flashy fine dining restaurant; it's all about genuine, rustic charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; they took the time to explain each dish so we understood everything on our plates. But the real highlight was the chef—a truly humble genius! You could see his passion for food as he talked about each dish, and that enthusiasm made us excited to taste everything. As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed a seven-course meal that featured mostly seafood, which was a pleasant surprise. I can’t recall all the intricate names of the dishes, but honestly, that didn’t matter because they were all so delicious! Yes, it’s a bit pricey for your average South African, but I assure you it’s worth every penny. This is an experience I will remember for a long time.

There were many different taste sensations with local produce from the West Coast. We had an absolute amazing day with blue skies and no wind that contributed to the overall experience. It is an food experience outing and not a everyday restaurant. Overall I would recommend it to fine dining lovers for a different experience.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were outstanding as well. The menu primarily features seafood that is sourced locally and prepared to perfection. While Wolfgat impressed me on many fronts, I felt that some dishes lacked a bit of finesse, as they were overly hearty and challenging to chew. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable experience overall, and I would definitely recommend it.
