They make an effort to source their hops locally whenever possible, which can be challenging. Richard employs various techniques, such as dry-hopping, barrel-aging, and incorporating fresh fruits, to create beers that are both accessible and intriguing. Additionally, the company actively supports the restoration of Lake Hendricks and the nearby campground. It's a top-notch brewery in a charming small-town setting.

Everything they've been doing has just turned out fantastic.Their tap room is an awesome addition to a city such as Brookings and I'm finding myself insanely jealous that it's there and not in my home city. I know I'll be making the 40 minute car trip JUST for this place in my future.If you get a chance, try any of the IPA's they have. Their Hobo Hazed is easily one of my favorite beers, very closely followed if not overshadowed by their Brute IPA they have spun up. Their wheats are solid and just as good, I just wish they had some darker beers on tap when I was there.I am really excited to see these guys grow. They obviously know what they are doing, and this place is worth a detour from any trip bringing you near to drive in and try a flight.
