I was on a personal campaign to try test BBQ ribs in competing restaurants. TR is 4.75 on my taste test scale. The previous stop was my 5th. The other two were 2's away. My sweet potato was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sampler had rattlesnake bites (hot cheese balls), active skins, and chicken bites (pronounced hot to taste). The sample plate was great. What User doesn't like about Texas Roadhouse:
First, I want to say that Texas Roadhouse is my favorite place to eat. We tried the new location and were disappointed. Our waiter was great and it wasn't his fault. It took almost 30 minutes to get me a drink from the bar. Even the manager came at the table and I told her I was waiting for my drink. Some steaks were also boiled. The prime rib was poorly prepared this time, which was disappointing since it used to be better. Additionally, the ribeye was overcooked.
Typically, the waitstaff is outstanding. However, the host responsible for managing the waiting lists doesn't always respond promptly, which leads to longer wait times than expected—both on the phone and when customers arrive in person.
I visited this restaurant with my friends recently and had a wonderful experience with a server named Mary-Beth. She made it one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. She was incredibly kind and attentive; my glass was never nearly empty! Plus, the food was fantastic!
Baked sweet potato is huge and cooked to perfection; green beans poked to perfection with delicious southern seasonings,rolls were a little too overdone, ribs were delicious and tender except for the top, which was overcooked. Ordered takeout and it wasn’t ready until 15 minutes past promised time, which is a bad habit at this location.
