El Trompo Taco Shop - Hendersonville

Always delicious! The cheese dip is a bit pricey at $5 for the amount you receive, but I still give this restaurant 5 stars for their exceptional effort in communicating instructions to the delivery driver. The tacos are fantastic!

The experience was just okay. I got a small soft taco that was mediocre for $4, and the cheese dip was disappointingly tiny for $5—not worth the price at all. Additionally, the rice was really bland and lacked seasoning. I couldn't believe that something from a Mexican restaurant would be so underseasoned! I probably won't order from here again.

I absolutely love this place! It’s family-owned, and the owner, Samuel, is incredibly friendly and always takes great care of us. My favorite dish is the gorditas, and you have to try the cheese flan for dessert—it’s a must! Plus, they serve the best margaritas in town. I can't recommend it enough; it’s truly a hidden gem!

The food was enjoyable, but our bill was not presented in a timely manner. We were informed that our total was $46, which seems high for just five tacos and a single burrito. I have a feeling that our order wasn't calculated based on the menu prices. Even if I'm mistaken about the pricing, they should definitely provide customers with a receipt to review before making payment. Because of this experience, I won't be returning.
